You’ve almost completed the first week of school and now it’s time to get revved up for the weekend. During IVth Night, Mason showcases the talents of our students with the help of professional performances that is sure to inspire you as a Patriot! You’ll have an opportunity to get the annual Mason Fight Song shirt, learn the fight song, get samples and coupons from area restaurants and retail stores, and watch live performances!
This is a great time to hang out with new friends and have new experiences.

So, you might be wondering why is it called IVth Night? To honor our university’s namesake, IVth Night was chosen because George Mason was actually George Mason IV. This spirited event also happens to fall on the fourth day of the school week. What better way to pay homage to this great Patriot?!
